Dallas Founders Club: FAQ
What is Dallas Founders Club?
Dallas Founders Club (DFC) is a curated community of entrepreneurs, startup founders, and creative builders in Dallas, Texas. We host laid-back, high-quality founder meetups, happy hours, and startup networking events that spark real connection, fuel collaboration, and strengthen the Dallas startup ecosystem.
No panels. No pitches. Just good people, honest conversations, and shared momentum.
Who is Dallas Founders Club for?
DFC is for entrepreneurs who are actively building and operating their own companies, and who resonate with our Community Standards. Whether you're pre-revenue or publicly traded, bootstrapped or venture-backed, if you're a founder and aligned with what we stand for, this community is for you.
What kind of events do you host?
Every DFC gathering takes place inside a space one of our members has built, whether that's a restaurant, a creative studio, a home, or a business. It's how we keep things authentic and personal.
Our events include:
Member-Hosted Gatherings — drinks, music, and honest conversation inside founder-owned spaces across Dallas
Founder Spotlights — a few members share what they're building, the challenges they're facing, and how the community can help
Coffee Chats — informal 1-on-1s with local founders every weekday morning at Katy Coffee in Victory Park
We also partner with organizations like the Spears Institute at SMU Cox to bring in leaders from across the Dallas ecosystem.
Is Dallas Founders Club just for tech startups?
Nope. We welcome all types of founders:
Tech startups and SaaS founders
CPG and DTC brands
Creative entrepreneurs and service businesses
Bootstrapped or venture-backed
Solo builders and teams
If you're building something with intention, you're one of us.

✅ No fees to join.

How Does Membership Work?
At Dallas Founders Club, we're building a supportive community of innovative entrepreneurs who lift each other up. Membership is by invitation and review to ensure everyone feels connected and aligned with our shared goals. Here's a straightforward overview of the process:
Get Nominated or Apply: Start by being nominated by a current member or submitting a simple application through our website. We'll ask about your founder journey, what you're building, and why you're excited to join.
Sponsorship Check: We encourage sponsorship from at least one existing member who can vouch for your fit. This helps us keep the group collaborative and welcoming, think of it as friends introducing friends.
Community Review: Your application is shared with our current members for their thoughtful feedback, this is what makes us truly community-driven, ensuring new additions help everyone thrive together. We aim for collective enthusiasm and strong majority support to proceed, as it preserves the collaborative energy we’re building for. If we don't reach that level, it could be about pacing our growth thoughtfully or simply not the ideal fit at this moment. We'll always communicate openly and kindly, and we encourage you to stay in touch or reapply as the club grows.
Welcome Aboard: Once approved, you'll get an invite to our events, resources, and network. We're here to help you grow, membership is about mutual support, not exclusivity.
If you have questions or want to learn more, reach out anytime. We're excited to connect with fellow Dallas founders!
